The fragrance of the ocean breeze, the sun glittering on the
waves, the softness of the sand under your feet, the music of
the birds with sea currents buoying their wings…to me, that’s
the very definition of romance. When you’re on the beach, you
feel in your very soul that there are no limits, that the
universe is endless and all-encompassing, that everything is in
its place and all is right with the world…
A Beach Wedding is the perfect expression of unlimited,
unconditional love! Low-key, no-stress, no attitude, too!
The Beach is also a fabulous place to renew your vows!
I’m extremely low-key and relaxed. I believe that your wedding
should be exactly the way you have always dreamed—not what
someone else tells you that you must, or ought to, have. And, if
the freedom and joy of the seaside is what makes your hearts
sing—then, by all means, get married at the beach!
Ordained as an InterFaith Minister through The New Seminary,
which is an affiliate of The United Nations, I learned—and
continue to learn—wedding traditions from all over the world.
There are thousands of them; some you’ve heard of and some you
haven’t. Some are related to religions or beliefs, others are
ethnic-based, and many are based purely on a love of family or
nature or food or whatever brings you joy.
My husband and I married outdoors
in a lovely place yet, when we decided to renew our vows for our
20th anniversary, we chose to have a full-fledged ceremony—at
the beach! We dressed up, but told our guests to wear beach
clothes, and it was romantic, fun, no-stress,
beautiful…everything we’d dreamed. So, knowing first-hand what
it feels like to be married at the beach, I’m thrilled to be
able to offer that experience to others!
The fact that I’ve been happily married for nearly 35 years says
a lot about my understanding both the daily celebration and the
daily work that define a great marriage!
Whether it’s planned far in advance or just spur-of-the-moment,
I will rejoice in performing your ceremony. From the most basic
barefoot celebration with just a few close friends; to a grand,
elegant affair on or overlooking the ocean; or anything in
between—call me!
All weddings include a copy of
your ceremony
written on parchment and my
filing all necessary license paperwork for you.
